Panasonic announces a series of six new HD camcorders models.
The 900 series provides exclusive 3MOS System Pro for significantly improved performance through a completely new lens, sensor and processor. The Crystal Engine Pro II processed at high speed the huge number of pixels – about four times the number of pixels used in HD – produced by the advanced 3MOS sensor through a unique pixel-shift technology. This makes the new system is capable of producing HD images with breathtaking color, detail and color gradient.
3MOS System Pro is an imaging system of the next generation even in low light able to achieve extraordinary results and clear, beautiful images with minimal noise.
The new High Sensitivity Sensor 700 Series provides a significantly improved image quality in low light.
The 900/800/700 series can be life-like 3D images using an optional conversion lens by simply mounting. Because the 3D images are included in the new AVCHD format 3D (only for the 900/800 series), they are highly compatible with TVs and BD players so users can easily home high-quality 3D images to view. The user-recorded 3D data can also be intuitively edited using the supplied software. All models offer the ability to shoot in the iFrame format, which is designed to make editing accelerate compatible video editing software.
All new models feature a host of other new features, resulting in a diverse range that fits all life styles.
Panasonic HC-X900 / X800
Panasonic knows in these models with 3MOS System Pro to obtain the best image quality. This is the advanced 3MOS sensor combined with the new pixel-shift technology, the F1.5 Leica Dicomar lens with 29.8 mm wide and Nano Surface Coating Technology and the Crystal Engine Pro II with its rapid image. The new HYBRID OIS + (Optical Image Stabilizer) also ensures that the entire zoom range blur is avoided. Almost every scene is captured in clear, beautiful images in full HD 1080/50p, even if the images are taken while walking or when handheld power is zoomed. 3MOS System Pro also delivers great results in low light, the noise compared to previous models is reduced by 40%. If the optional 3D conversion lens is used, these models with full HD 3D images are recorded in the AVCHD format 3D.
Panasonic HC-V700
This model shoots full HD 1080/50p and is equipped with the new High Sensitivity Sensor from Panasonic, so the picture quality has improved significantly.
