JVC Picsio GC-WP10 Review

JVC Picsio GC-WP10  Review

A week in sunny Turkey is the perfect setting for some much needed relaxation. And a test of an underwater camera.

The somewhat thick PICSIO WP 10 was a JVC touchscreen that both underwater and above water in the sun almost unreadable. Moreover, it does not always on my touch, which makes for frustration.

Thankfully, there are also real buttons on the side to start recording or to switch between photo and film mode. All film and sound material, because the WP10 doubles as a voice recorder, stored on an SD memory card.

During the filming is even roughly one third of the screen used to display the image, so you do not really get an idea of image quality. That is thankfully it: both the photographs and the movies (in HD) are of decent quality, though not really impressive.

The sound is okay, even catching the microphones after a swim in the water here is not much more.
