Amimon , the company that was responsible for sending 1080p video signals via a 5GHz bandwidth , has since CES This year is much more of a voice , but now comes with a new prototype system developed for the revolution that put in motion by James Cameron and associates to support .
The new setup can Amimon 3D hd video signals wirelessly send using WHDI (More info : Allesoverhomecinema.com) . The demo showed 3D 1080p content that can be transmitted with a frame rate of 24fps , without any interference or glitches . For now the system consists of a box that sends signals and a box that receives the signals , both equipped with Amimon ’s digital baseband and RF receiver chip .
It is said that the product is almost ready for mass production, but we have no idea if the first devices will be boxes for existing tv or that they are integrated into new 3D hd TVs . Hopefully more news will follow soon !
